重视开头和结尾句

“凤头豹尾”巧表达。好的开始是成功的一半，高考英语书面表达的开头句一般已为考生写好。考生要做的是自然地衔接过渡到要表达的主体部分。很多低分考生多是首句就写得不尽人意，或中式表达，或用词不当，或拼写出错。其实，以套语或俗语开始比较客观、有力，也更容易给阅卷老师留下良好印象，评分定高档。因此首句一定要写得漂亮、无误，是谓“凤头”。以下为用于句首提出论题或现象的句型：

① Recently, ... has become the focus of the society.

② ...has been playing an increasingly important role in our day-to-day life.

③ Nowadays there is a growing concern for...

④ Nowadays more and more people are beginning to be aware of the seriousness of ...

⑤ There is an old / popular saying / proverb which says / goes ...

⑥ Opinions are divided on the question.

结尾部分在书面表达中占有很重要的地位，因此，写好结尾回扣主题，给阅卷老师留下一个完整的印象十分必要。好的结尾能使全文增色，是谓“豹尾”，是得高分的亮点。例如：

① If there is anything I can do for you, I would be more than glad to help.

② In short, the students have not arrived at any agreement yet.

但是，实际写作中，许多考生却不知如何来结尾，原本一两句话就能很圆满地完成写作任务，往往节外生枝，画蛇添足，结果因表达不当、低级小错反而留下扣分、降档的可能。因此，要熟练掌握一些用于结尾的常用句型：

① From what has been discussed / mentioned above, we may conclude that...

② Therefore, it is not difficult to draw / come to the conclusion that...

③ It is high time that something was done about...

④ From all the reasons / considerations above, it is evident / clear / obvious that...

⑤ Taking into account all these factors, we may reach the conclusion that...

⑥ From what has been discussed above, we may reasonably arrive at the conclusion that...

⑦ All in all, what really matters is, in fact, to...

⑧ In my opinion, we should attach more importance to...

高级词汇

适当地运用“高级词汇”能让句子更加亮眼，可以是高考考试大纲词汇表中诸如熟词新义之类的词汇，或高考考试大纲词汇表之外通过阅读而积累的适合写作的词，通过构词法而生成的词等。

本句使用了高级词汇 additionally, beneficial。

高级短语代替单词

在英语写作过程中，要牢记短语优于词汇的观念。

高级句型

适当地使用同位语、非谓语动词、with 的复合结构、独立主格结构、省略等手段，使句子得以精简。

适当地使用倒装句、强调句等，使句子多样化，突出重点。

not only… but also 连接两个句子，第一个句子需要用部分倒装。

It is not the story itself but what is reflected in the story that counts.

it is…that 构成强调句。
